Instructions for RUS Form 266

Compliance Assurance

Each borrower is required, as a condition prerequisite to advance of loan funds, to provide RUS with assurance that it will conduct its program operations in compliance with Departmental rules and regulations

All RUS existing borrowers must have an RUS Form 266 on file at the RUS Washington, DC Headquarters Office prior to the advance of funds.  Each first-time loan applicant who requests a loan from RUS shall include the RUS Form 266 with its loan application.

Items to be completed

RUS Borrower	Enter the corporate name of the RUS Borrower for which this form applies.
Date	Enter the date the form is signed.
Person Authorized by the Board to Sign This Assurance	The official designated by the Borrower’s Board of Directors shall sign in this space.
