Instructions for Form FSA-2040
AGREEMENT FOR THE
USE OF PROCEEDS/RELEASE OF CHATTEL SECURITY
This form is used by
FSA to approve the borrower’s planned use of proceeds from the disposition of
chattel security, to record changes of planned use, and to record the actual
disposition of chattel security for the designated crop year. This form remains in effect until the
disposition of all listed chattel security, or until all remaining chattel
security is transferred to a new FSA-2040.
The form is prepared by the borrower and the
authorized agency official.
The Borrower will review and execute the
form.
